If you live in The Necropolitan, you already know Stumpy Graves. His day job is single-handedly digging up the recently deceased and helping them adjust to their new afterlife, mountains of paperwork and all. If that were all he did, you might forget him after a few centuries, but Stumpy is also notoriously social — he is constantly checking in with citizens, somehow keeping all of their names, faces, and stories straight. How he finds the time for all this and a Mageball career is a mystery, and he has a different answer every time someone asks… an answer that usually includes some kind of bad pun. (Anyway, would you like some gum? Stumpy has gum. He always has gum.)
